From 12/14, 12/15 and 12/16 and due on 12/18:  Study for your text structure
test on Friday. 

From 12/8 and due on 12/9:  complete worksheet on Salamanders.  Make sure to
complete both sides.

From 12/7 and due on 12/8:  Final copy of the Reflection from the 1st quarter due.

From 11/30 and due on 12/1:  Complete the reflection prewriting sheet started
in class if you didn't finish it.  Final draft instructions will be given out
later in the week. 

From 11/19 and due  on 11/20:  Take 2-column notes on "Bat."  Use the example
from "Toucan" to help you.     

From 11/16:  enjoy Reading for your reading log.  Book Swap was today. 

From 11/5 and due over the next week:  Study for your assessment.  The
assessment date has been moved to Wednesday, 6/11.  It will probably take 2
days to complete.  Don't forget to complete your next Reading Log. 

From 11/3 and due on 11/4:  Read the worksheet on the Digestive system, answer
the questions and then write a paragraph on the back of the article describing
the text structure, 2 examples of how you know it and why the author would
need that. Quarterly assessment will be on 11/10 and 11/11. 

From 11/2 and due on 11/3:  Update your ongoing reading log that lists all of
the books you have read since school started and bring it to school.  

From 10/30 and due on 11/2:  Finish project and reading log due next class. 

From 10/29 and due on 11/2:  work on your Text features project. 

From 10/26 and due  on 11/2:  Text features project.

From 10/23 and due on 10/26:  Final poster entry form and rubric and the next
Reading log. 

From 10/21 and due on 10/22 and beyond:  Text structure paragraph and then
your final poster form is due on Monday. 

From 10/19 and due on 10/20:  Poster draft due and complete main idea
paragraph #2. 

From 10/14 and due on 10/20:  Poster draft due on. 

From 10/13 and due on 10/14:  Study for Wednesday's test on text features and
rough draft of poster project due on 10/20.  

From 10/12 and due on 10/14:  Study for Wednesday's test on text features! 
use your notes!

From 10/9 and due on 10/12:  Reading Logs due on Monday and there will be a
quiz on Wednesday, 10/14 on parts of the textbook and text features.  

From 10/1 and due on 10/2:  Reading logs

From 9/29 and due on 10/1:  *Vocab. packet for Lesson 1 - Exercise #6
