1) Bring all math materials to class daily. Remember to use PENCIL only
for math work. Copy each problem and SHOW ALL WORK next to each problem.
2) Complete all classwork, homework, and POTW's on time.
3) Spend 30 minutes daily on math work: completing written assignments,
reviewing notes, and organizing your notebook.
4) Ask questions in class, study with a buddy, use the internet for
practice, make flash cards, and practice all basic math facts.
5) Sign up for Core Plus whenever extra help is needed.
6) "Talk math" with parents, friends, or a buddy to practice your skills.
7) Make sure you keep the table of contents current. Check the master book
or your math buddy if you have questions.
8) Review all problems that were wrong on drills, classwork, homework,
POTW, and quiz problems. Correct any mistakes. Ask questions when you are
confused.
