Mrs. Bishop is returning for her eighth year at Lime Kiln Middle and her
31st year working in Howard County schools. Mrs. Bishop has worked
in elementary, middle and high schools but has found that she prefers working
with fantastic and funny middle school students and teachers.
Mrs. Bishop grew up in the "land of pleasant living" on the eastern shore
of Maryland. She moved to Howard County in 1979 and liked it so much
she never left. Mrs. Bishop is an "empty nester" most of the year. Her two
sons are now grown. She lives with her husband, cat named "Dusty"and newly
adopted puppy "Junior". In her spare time, Mrs. Bishop enjoys reading, going
to the theater, watching movies, gardening, and playing cards or games with
her family and friends.
My primary mission is to help each student become a competent and
confident communicator so they can reach their highest potentials in
education, employment, and personal relationships. My secondary goal
is to help each class member enjoy participating in the communication
process. I try to present learning activities that are both meaningful,
memorable and fun.
