school system as well as various piano stores and churches

• Served as a presenter at the Maryland Music Educator's Conventions and
received an "Outstanding Presenter" award from the president of the
Maryland Music Educators
• Was one of three finalists for the Howard County Music Educator of the
year award
• Assisted writing seven children's musicals including the Baltimore
Bicentennial contest winner 'Bout Baltimore which was produced as a one
hour special on Channel 2
(This musical is also buried in the time capsule at the Baltimore Inner
Harbor to be opened 100 years from now.)
• Also assisted writing original music to "Alice in Wonderland" which won
national contests in both Michigan and Virginia
• Served as music director for the Baltimore Children's Theatre, performing
at the Howard County Center for the Arts, Slayton House,Chesapeak Center for
the Arts, and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Other children's musical theatre
experience includes Act II Children's Theatre, Timonium Children's
Theatre,and Pumpkin Theatre. Also assisted with set design and construction,
developing lighter and safer sets for children.
