About The Teacher

Ms. Meinders has been teaching social studies for 12 years.  She 
particularly enjoys the global studies curriculum because of her travel experiences.  She has travelled all 
over the world, sometimes on long extended trips; 9 months to shorter 2& 3
weeks. The past 2 summers-  time was spent exploring  Central America. A goal is  to 
become fluent in Spanish. She would like to go to South America or Southern Africa on her next 
journey. One of her favorite things to do is to run with Jones (her black lab 
mix) in the woods.
