When is homework due?

Any assignment that is not completed in class should be taken home and returned the next day.
Your child should have this work highlighted in his or her Student Planner/Agenda and the work
should be in the Homework folder. It is very important for work to be completed on time so that
your child will be prepared for new material each day.

If your child is absent, please call the office and let us know. He or she
will be given the time needed to complete missing assignments without missing
recess.

How often should I sign the Student Planner?

Please sign and return the Planner each day. It is a great tool for your
child to learn organization and responsibility for his or her own work. The
Planner also helps you and I stay connected on a daily basis. At the end of
each week, there is a page where I will record any assignment that is still
missing that week. Also, your child will mark his or her conduct for the
week.

What do I do if I have a question?

Please feel free to write a note or call. I will respond as soon as
possible. Keep in mind that the majority of the time during the day is
spent providing your student and the others with a quality education.
Please be patient. The best method for an expedient response is through the
agenda. If you write a quick note I can respond when I check your child's
agenda in the morning.
