My child doesn't feel well. Should I send them to school?
If your child has a fever, a nose that is running green, has a wet and
"croupy"
cough, or feels nauseous, please do NOT send them to school. These are all
indicators of infection, and they could infect others. I will send home

If my child has his/her card flipped are they in trouble?
Not neccesarily. All students begin every day on green. Yellow is a warning,
orange is a conference with me, purple is a phone call and/or note home (NOT
good!), and red is a visit with the principal. A pink slip is for severe
infractions.
When is homework due?
Homework packet is due every Friday. Any other homework is due the following
day
If I have a question or concern, should I go to the principal first?
I believe in good parent/teacher communication and relationships. I will be
happy to discuss any questions or concerns that you may have regarding my
policies or your child's progress. Please contact me by phone or note to
schedule a conference with me.
How do I order from Scholastic books?
I send home an order form approximately every marking period.
If you wish to place an order, please fill out child's name, choices, and
amount. Please write a check or m/o to "Scholastic Books". PLEASE DO NOT
SEND CASH!
