Mrs. Giese is in her 22nd year of teaching. She earned her Bachelor's Degree
at Southwest State University in Elementary Education with a concentration
in reading and learning disabilities. She also graduated with a Master's
Degree from St. Mary's University of St. Paul in May of 2004. Her area of
study was Elementary Education. She lives on a farm with her husband Mark
and Australian Sheep Dog, Lightning. She has two college-age daughters,
Nicole and Natalie. Currently, she is involved in a Teaching American
History Grant. She loves to travel to read and learn (especially about
HISTORY).
It's not, "How smart are you?" It's "How are you smart?"
Canby Elementary School believes in the dignity and self-worth of each child
and will provide a safe, caring, learning environment in which all will be
given the opportunity for a quality education.
