Hello! I am very excited to be the new band teacher at St. Ambrose! I look
forward to sharing the gift of music with the young people at St. Ambrose
School.
I grew up in the small town of Parkston, SD. I received my bachelors in music
education from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD and have done
graduate work at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Viterbo University in
LaCrosse, WI, and the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. I have been
teaching band for twelve years now. I have taught four years in New Ulm, MN;
one
year in Boulder, Colorado; one year in Chamberlain, South Dakota; and five
years in Eau Claire, WI.
My husband and I have been married for four years. We don't have any children
at this time. We are hoping to get a puppy as soon as we are settled into our
new home.
I love to walk, bike-ride, play tennis, swim, go fishing, listen to all
styles of music, play my instruments, go to concerts, travel, cook, watch
comedy movies, and do needlepoint.
