The 2009-2010 school year will be my seventeenth as a teacher, my tenth as the
Media Specialist/Technologist at Saint Ambrose of Woodbury. Besides
computers, my hobbies include refereeing high school and youth football games
and officiating volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball games in the
Catholic Athletic Association. Massive home theatre and audio systems are a
favorite hobby, as are science fiction novels and movies. I live in South St.
Paul with two fierce german shepherds: Rex and Ninabeans.
In 1991 I graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in
English and in May, 2003, I graduated from Saint Mary's University with a
Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning.
In addition to my primary duties, I also serve as our school's Athletic Director.
Every student at Saint Ambrose of Woodbury uses our computer technology to
enhance their learning, improve the quality of his/her work production, and
learn habits for successful, creative work completion.
Students in grades five through eight participate in our extra-curricular
athletic program. Playing for our teams teaches our athletes the rules and
basic skills of their sport, the value of teamwork, and the ideals of
inclusion, hard work, and sportsmanship.
