I attended the College of St. Scholastica where I received a degree in
elementary and middle school education. I have a specialty license in 6-8
grade earth, life, and physical science. I enjoy teaching and learning new
things whenever I get the chance.
My interests include going to Twin's games, running, rollerblading, painting,
swimming, spending time with family and friends, reading, playing guitar, and
hiking at state parks.

I believe that all children need to be comfortable in their learning
environment. I believe that all children can learn no matter the disability
they have to overcome. I believe in hands on activities that aid in
children's learning. It is my goal, as a teacher, to reach out to all
learners. Each child is unique and may learn differently. I hope to have a
relationship with each student that allows me to understand the way they
learn and move forward with them towards their own understanding of the
subject matter we are working on.
