Use each word from the spellign list in a complete sentence.  Highlight the spelling word used in each sentence.

Write your spelling words in ABC order.

                    Fractions!

Count how many letters are in each word.  Record thsi number as the bottom number in the fraction.  Next, count how many vowels are in the word.  Record this number as the top number in the fraction.  Also, count how many consonants are in the word and make another fraction with this numer as your top number. 

Example: unkind

2/6, 4/6

                 Rhyme Time!

Write each spellign word and another word that rhymes with the word from the list.

**You do not need to complete the activity at the bottom of page 39.

Take a test with a parent.

Make sure to have yoru parent sign the test when you are finished.

Write each of your spelling words 5 times each.

              Rainbow Spelling

Write each word neatly in black marker.  Next, choose 3 bright colored crayons and trace over the spellign word written in black marker. 

                       Dictionary Dive!

Choose 10 words from your spelling list that you would like to look up in the dictionary.  Underline the spelling word, and write the definition of the word on lined paper. 

Make sure to skip lines between each definition so it is easier for Mrs. Gander to read!
