Hello, I am Dianna Helmberger. I have been a 5th grade teacher for 6 years!
This is my Fourth year here at St. Ambrose. I also taught at IHM - St. Luke's
(now St. Thomas Moore) However, I attended St. Ambrose
when it was still located in St. Paul and began my early Catholic education
there.
I grew up in the area and I attended Concordia University in
St. Paul and graduated with a degree and teaching lisc for grade 5- 12 and a
specialty in science. I still am pursuing a masters in Differentiation at
Concordia.
I live in the area with my husband Adam, my son Riley, my mother and our
dog. I have been married for over six years to my wonderful husband Adam.
Riley is a fun two year old, who is always on the go. We are expecting a baby
girl in Mid- October. Bella our dog is a 2 year old black lab and she is also
full of energy. My mom lives with us and helps to complete our family.

I believe that children need a safe environment that
fosters learning through the use of their own unique talents and gifts. Every
student can be successful when they feel welcome, wanted and their individual
needs are met.
In fifth grade, we strive to help students become responsible, independent
and caring individuals that use God's words and love to impact the world
around them in a positive manner.
