Hello, I am Dianna Helmberger. I have been teaching 5th grade for 4 years.
This is my second year here at St. Ambrose. However, I attended St. Ambrose
when it was still located in St. Paul.
I began my schooling at Beaver Lake Elementary, then moved on to Maplewood
Middle School and Tartan High School. I then attended Concordia University in
St. Paul and graduated with a degree and teaching lisc. I still am pursuing a
masters in Differentiation at Concordia. My speciality is science.
I live in the area with my husband Adam, my son Riley, my mother and our two
dogs. Riley was born July 28th and I was able to spent the summer with him.
I enjoy teaching and look forward to a wonderful year.
I believe that children need a safe environment that
fosters learning through the use of their own unique talents and gifts. Every
student can be successful when they feel welcome, wanted and their individual
needs are met.
In fifth grade, we strive to help students become responsible, independent
and caring individuals that use God's words and love to impact the world
around them in a positive manner.
