November 2nd-5th
 

Many thanks to all of you who made our Halloween celebration a successful one. Without the donations and volunteer support such a fun event could not have happened. I am very grateful for each and every one of you.

Please remember that Friday, November 6th is a no school Teacher Workshop day.

Next Week In

Reading: We will continue in our reading series. We will read Cinderquacker. Please see attached list of words for our new book. (this was suppose to be attached last week) This list and others are also available at Teacherweb under Story Word Lists.  November book reports should have come home today. All November reports will be due on Tuesday, November 24th.

 
Religion: We will attend Mass on Monday for All Souls Day. We will spend our week discussing the lives of saints.

 
Math: We will continue to work on composing and decomposing math sentences. We will work with ten frames, story problems and fact families.

 
Spelling: We will take a look at the –ip family. We have five words this week, zip, rip, he, that. Our only test will be on Thursday.

 
Social Studies: We will continue in our new unit. We will look at land and water. Words to know are land, water, valley, plain, lake, river, and ocean.

 
Science: We will discuss how animals grow and change. We will look at how babies look like their parents.
