Child of the Week is designed to help us get to know your child. Each 
child will receive a poster to fill in. These will be sent home one 
week prior to your child’s special week. The poster will help us to 
learn about them. In addition to the poster, your child may wish to 
bring in more photos, favorite toys, books, etc. Perhaps help your 
child write a story or make a collage about themselves. Be as 
creative as you like! We will then put these items in our "Child of 
the Week" corner. The items will remain at school for your child's 
special week. However, if there are any items you or your child do 
not wish to keep at school, they will be returned after the first day.

You are also welcome to visit the classroom during your child's 
special week to read a story to the children. If you wish to do so, 
please contact me to arrange a time. Please remember that the 
background checks need to be completed prior to visiting the 
classroom.
