I am so happy to be your child's teacher! I have been a teacher in the
Archdiocese of Minneapolis/Saint Paul for nineteen years. The last nine
years I have been teaching fifth grade at Saint Ambrose. Dedication to
Catholic education began when I was in grade school and continued through my
college education to my teaching career. I earned my undergraduate degree
at The College of Saint Catherine, completed my Masters in Curriculum and
Instruction at The University of Saint Thomas, and am currently seeking
certification in Gifted and Talented Education from Saint Thomas. I am
married and have two wonderful children, Luigi and Elizabeth. In my free
time I love to travel, read, cook, and visit friends and family.
Each year my greatest goal as a teacher is to spark student's minds and
hearts to gain new knowledge while growing in their love of God. As I
shared
on information night: Success in education comes from a child learning in a
positive, safe, and enjoyable environment. All children can and will learn
if they feel wanted, welcome, and their educational needs are met.
