Grading

Students in grades K-2 will be graded on their ability to follow classroom
rules, instructional directions, and behavior. Students will be accountable
for the content learned in class.

Each student will arrive to class with 10 participation/behavior points.
These are theirs to keep unless it is necessary I take them away. Each time
a student needs a reminder about listening when the teacher is talking or
what they are supposed to be doing during an activity they will lose 1
point. Quarter grades will be assessed by how many total points they lost
through out the quarter.

Grading Guidelines:
1.	Put forth effort/participate in class.
2.	Respect for others and school property.
3.	Act appropriately/no behavior problems
4.	Dress appropriately – wear tennis shoes to class.

100%= 5
85 - 99% = 4
70 - 84% = 3
55 - 69% = 2
below 55% = 1

Students who sit out of class with a note from home or a doctor will not lose
thier daily points unless they are disruptive to class.
