Homework:  Complete the math worksheet titled Double Fun.  Bring this page 
back to school on Wednesday.

Homework: Choose a book from home.  Follow the directions for the Noun Sort.  
Bring in your completed Noun Sort on Thursday.

Homework: Ask a grown–up to give you the practice spelling test.  You don’t 
have to bring this back to school.

Dear Parents,
	Please help your second grader keep track of the days they read at 
home on their new October reading calendar.  Also help them choose an 
appropriate book for their book report.  The book they choose should be 
challenging but not frustrating for your child to read.  The calendar and 
book report are due Monday, November 3.
