Will there be homework in the first grade?

Homework will not be given on a regular basis. Your child should read each
night and study spelling words. You could also encourage working on adding
and subtracting through 10. If your child does not finish his work
during the day, he may be asked to take it home to finish.

When can I come and help in the classroom?

I will be looking for volunteers to help in and around the classroom
beginning in October. All volunteers will be required to have a background
check, Virtus training and code of conduct signed, prior to working with the
children.
