CHURCH CHAT
Please join us at Mass on Monday at 1:30 celebrating All Souls Day.
We will begin learning about Baptism in the coming week.
PROBLEM PATROL
_id words are being added to our list of words we can spell. Looking for
hidden objects in pictures and in clouds was a fun thing to do as we were
introduced to our first stories.
JUST THE FACTS
Adding and subtracting through twelve, and reviewing number words were the
focus this week.
Beginning work on memorizing math facts through 12 would be beneficial.
SNACK ATTACK
The children will have time each day to enjoy a snack and a little break.
Please send one healthy snack to school with your child each day.
RAISE THE RENT
Bringing in a dollar for our Halloween free dress will benefit a family
looking for housing at Simpson Housing in Minneapolis.
READING COUNTS
Weekly reading logs are due each Monday. The document can be found on
Teacherweb. You are welcome to print them weekly and have your child bring
the signed paper to school on Monday or you can send it via email. Your child
will receive a small reward at the end of the month if the Weekly Reading
Logs are turned in on time. Please note that this is not an optional
assignment and will go towards a reading grade.
HALLOWEEN PARTY
Thank you to those of you who so generously donated items for our Halloween
party. We are looking forward to a great day!
CONFERENCES
Please remember to turn in your conference request sheets. I look forward to
visiting with you about your child's progress.
