Dear Parent(s),
This is the final newsletter of the year.
I want to thank you for allowing me to get to know you and your family. It
has been my pleasure working with each and every child. We had a few
challenges during the school year, but I have seen each child grow
tremendously and assure you that they will be prepared as much as possible
for second grade.
Next week we will wrap things up for the year. We are done with spelling
tests, Weekly Reading Reports and book reports. Working with your child this
summer on reading, writing and math will help them increase their skills for
next year.
There are a few openings left for summer school here at Saint Ambrose. If
you are interested, please call Betsy Hand to schedule. Her number is 768-
3012. If you have questions regarding which class might best suit your
child, I'd be happy to advise.
Thank you to all who so generously donated shoes for the children of
Guatemala. You will have made many children very happy.
Next Thursday is our annual Field day. If you would like to help, please
call Tim Demco at 768-3053.
Please send a plastic grocery bag to school with your child on Monday. We
will be gathering our belongings to take home.
Again, thank you for your support this year. I have truly enjoyed another
year at Saint Ambrose.
