I am beginning my tenth year teaching first grade at Saint Ambrose of
Woodbury. I attended St. Bernard's High School, received my Bachelor of Arts
in Education from the College of St. Catherine and my Master's Degree from
Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
I live in Woodbury with my husband, David and two children, Madeline and Nick.
I enjoy teaching young children because they are so excited to learn. Some
of my outside interests include traveling, reading, biking, and
learning about other cultures.
My mission for first grade at Saint Ambrose of Woodbury is to create an
environment which will enable each child to be excited about school and want
to learn. Children come to school with many different backgrounds and
experiences. Accomodating individual differences by offering a variety of
experiences throughout the day is the best way to acknowledge and enhance
these unique characteristics.
