I moved to St. Paul from Indianapolis, IN after graduating from Ball State
University (GO CARDS!!!!). I graduated with a degree in Physical Education
(K-12). I ran track and cross country in High school. I
still run as much as I can but my schedule is limiting. I love being
outdoors and playing sports. My favorite activites include: hiking,
running,
volleyball, basketball, badminton, softball, football and camping. My newest
passion is backpacking. I recently took a trip to the north shore along the
Superior Hiking Trail. I can't wait to get back up there it was amazing. I
am a coach Junior Olympic Volleyball at
Minnesota One Volleyball. This past season my team finished second in the
Nation at the Junior Olympic Volleyball National Championships. I am married
but we do not have any children, as
of yet!
My hope is that when student graduate in 8th grade they have been exposed to
numerous games and activities. Some of which they pursue on thier own time
in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout thier lives. My job is
to expose student to as many activities as I can as well as give students
the
knowlege and skills for these activites so they may participate regularly
and
experience the rewards of a healthy life while doing so. Lastly, student
need to understand why it is important to be healthy and active for a
lifetime, including benefits and rewards.
