Mrs. Woolsey graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a
B.S in Secondary Education in 1996 and a Master's of Science in Education in
2007. She taught for five years near Rochester, MN, and joined the staff of
St. Ambrose in 2001.
Kris Woolsey lives in River Falls, WI, with her husband and two adorable
children.

In my English and literature classes, students will be challenged with the
complexity of communication. The classes will encourage students to express
themselves effectively. The students will be offered a large variety of
reading, writing, and discussion opportunities as they explore different ways
to share ideas in our wonderful English language. In addition, students will
explore the themes of identity and courage throughout the year. These are
issues junior high students address in their daily lives, and the English and
literature classes will give them an outlet for inquiry and discovery in
these areas.
