I re-joined the Carver Faculty in January,2004, after working for two years
in Richmond County. I taught Art for ten years before becoming a Media
Specialist. I had worked in Hoke County and Scotland County previously,(as
the Art teacher at the old Carver School and the first year of the new
school), before transferring to Richmond county. I have taught grades K-9.
I have been married for 9 years but do not have any children. I am a native
of Richmond county. I enjoy spending time with my husband and family and
friends. I enjoy going to the movies, creating art and craft projects, and
(trying) to grow flowers. I also love to travel.
My favorite color is blue, favorite food is edible (ha ha) and my favorite
cartoon character is Snoopy. My favorite pasttime is trying new things.
I have two dogs, Jadzia and Lily and one cat, Kara.
My mission for the Carver Media Center is to provide information access to
all students and faculty to meet their needs.
