We have three major forms of afternoon transportation. 

They are:  Car Pick-up, Classroom Pick-up, Bus/Van Pick-Up.

Car Pick Up - If you choose to do car pick up, you will stay IN YOUR CAR and wait in the line of cars outside the front of our school.  The children  will be escorted out of the building and brought to your car.  You will receive a card with your child's name that must be placed in the window of your vehicle when you come to pick up your child.  Your child will wait in the Cultural Hall until their name is called.  Please remain in your vehicle while you are waiting for your child.  If you do not have the card from the school with your child's name, ID will be checked before releasing a child. 
(This will take time and delay the dismissal process.)

Bus/Van Pick up - We recommend that you send your child to and from school on the bus.  The children will be escorted by a teacher to their bus each day in lower grades.  If your child rides a day-care van, the children will wait in the cafeteria until their van is dismissed and they will be escorted to the van by a staff person.

Classroom Pick Up - If you choose to pick up your child in the classroom, you will park, have your ID checked and wait in the Cultural Hall until after all children have been dismissed.  We do not permit any adults to walk in the halls during dismissal.  This is to ensure the safety of our students.  You will need to listen for the announcement which will dismiss parents to their child's designated classroom.  If you choose this method a Codington ID will be made for you by the office to speed the process.
