I received a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Douglass College and a
Master’s Degree in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education with a
Concentration in Mathematics from the Rutgers University Graduate School of
Education. I am currently taking courses through Kean University which will
lead to certification as a supervisor.
This is my seventh year in the GATE department in East Brunswick. Prior to
working in East Brunsick, I taught fifth grade in Irvington, NJ. Along
with teaching Sixth Grade Math Prime, I also teach Sixth and Seventh Grade
TAG at Hammarskjold, as well as Fifth Grade Math Prime at Chittick, Irwin
and Memorial.
My goal for each of my students is to allow him/her to reach their maximum
potential. All students in this program are here because they have shown
above average aptitude in mathematics. It is my job to promote further
growth in this field, while ensuring students’ comfort and confidence in the
subject area.
