Career Development

All Freshmen, Juniors, and Seniors take Career Development Courses.

Through  self-assessment exercises, personality inventories, and interactive websites, students will gain a greater understanding of themselves and possible college and career options. Although sophomores do not meet in a formal class, they are encouraged to speak with their Guidance Counselors. In addition, students may borrow books and videos from the Career Library and College Catalogue Room.

The Freshmen Career Development Course concentrates on the transition to high school, an understanding of the role of a student, self-assessment, and how interests, values, skills and personality relates to career choice. Students will write their autobiographies and complete a career research project.
