Homework is assigned daily from Monday thru Thursday. Homework activities
review the skills being taught daily in class. It is very important for
homework to be done neatly and carefully under a parent's supervision. It is
extremely important for homework to be checked and signed by a parent or
guardian.
In addition to a math worksheet every night here is the basic schedule:
Monday - Write spelling words 2x each in the notebook
Tuesday - Reading/Phonics Worksheet
Wednesday - Grammar/Writing Worksheet
Thursday - Rainbow words in the notebook
High Frequency Sight Words and Robust Vocabulary words are sent home on
Monday. These words should be reviewed frequently until mastered.
