**Book-It**
Book-It is a required assignment in our class. IT IS NOT OPTIONAL! It is
counted towards your child's overall reading grade.
From October through March your child will be required to read 300 minutes a
month. Monthly sheets to keep track of time are distributed the 1st day of
the month and are due back at the end of that month. FREE pizza coupons to
Pizza Hut are awarded monthly for the completion of assignment.
***Book Reports***
Monthly book reports are assigned throughout the year. A cover page
accompanies each book report with detailed instructions as to what is
expected and when the assignment is due. All directions are reviewed with
your child each time a report is assigned. Book reports are a requirement
for ALL students. Each report is counted towards your child's overall
Reading/Language Arts report card grade.
****Tests****
All Spelling and Readings tests are given on Fridays unless otherwise noted.
Additional tests and quizzes are given throughout the week depending upon
the subject matter.
