About The Teacher

This year I return to my AP roots and will be teaching AP American
Government
and Politics and I have introduced to NWCTA, AP Econimics. I look forward to
teaching about the greatest government in the world, and also helping
students with the new "BUZWORD" --- ECONOMICS!!!

My PROUDEST moment in my 20+ years came when I was honored on the floor of
the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS! It was there
that I was recognized for my work and my students accomplishmets in an
academic elective(HOLOCAUST STUDIES) and exhibit my students produced. I was
the first ever in the United States to be so honored! My students and myself
were further honored in the following 4 years by being invited to Washington
DC to meet with the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES FOR OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
IN THIS STUDY.

I have dedicated myself to encourging all students to take the greatest
academic challanges through the selection of AP(Advanced Placement)courses,
no matter what their previous placement.

I was an AP COORDINATOR.
I have taught: AP U.S. HISTORY, AP AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, AP WORLD HISTORY, AP
ECONOMICS AND AP PSYCHOLOGY.

I was recently recognized by the College Board as "BEST IN THE WORLD" IN
HISPANIC STUDENTS RECEIVING A QUALIFYING SCORE IN AP ECONOMICS!

I have taught all other levels of social studies IN MY 20+ CAREER.

I WAS A STUDENT ADVOCATE LEADER AND STARTED A PROGRAM WHERE I SERVED
AS "OMBUDSMAN" FOR PARENT-ADMINISTRATION-TEACHER-STUDENT DISPUTES.

I look forward to speaking to any student, parent, administrator or member
of our community about my career or Social Studies Education. Stop by
ANYTIME.
