Dutchess County Board of Elections
May 21, 2013 VOTING DAY
If you live in the VFES attendance area, your polling place for school board budget voting is here at Vail Farm. VFES is NOT the polling place for general elections. Any questions, please call the Dutchess County Board of Elections at (845) 486-2473.

LATE NIGHT VOTER REGISTRATION - MAY 14TH 4:00 TO 8:30PM
Are you registered to vote? Have you changed your address? Do you have anyone in your home who is over 18 years old and wants to register? Come to the main office any day between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM for registration forms. Late night voter registration is once a year, seven days prior to the District Budget Vote on May 14th till 8:30 PM for anyone unable to make it to our office during normal business hours. Forms can also be downloaded and mailed in by going to the Dutchess County Board of Elections website. Questions? call 486-2473.
 

EARLY DISMISSAL INFORMATION

IN THE EVENT OF AN EMEREGENCY EARLY DISMISSAL, VFES WILL DISMISS ACCORDING TO PARENTS' PREARRANGED EARLY DISMISSAL PLANS AS DESCRIBED ON EACH STUDENT'S EMERGENCY CARD.

EMERGENCY EARLY DISMISSAL: Even children with "permanent pick up" or "daily" notes, will be sent home according to their EARLY DISMISSAL PLAN, unless your note specifically says "in the event of an early dismissal".

School Messenger is the automated phone call system that allows the district to quickly broadcast information to parents. Another great source of information is WWW.CANCELLATIONS.COM for e-mail notification of closings or delays.

STOP & SHOP A+ REWARDS PROGRAM GIVES VFES $$$$
A+ School Rewards - Stop & Shop
Vail Farm Elementary School has great ways that families can help fund raise. Families must register their courtesy cards every year. Please register today. An added bonus to registering and raising money for Vail Farm is reduced prices at some gas pumps!

1. Simply register your Stop and Shop card on line and select Vail Farm Elementary School. Shop as normal and Vail Farm will receive a check at the end of the program. Amount donated is a percentage of the total grocery bill.


2. Box Tops for Education: Keep on sending in those Box Tops. Each one is worth $.10. Each Box Top worksheet is worth $1.00. It all adds up to supplies, equipment and extras for your children.

3. Price Chopper and Tools for Schools - Parents register their Price Chopper card on line or at the store and VFES earns points that can be redeemed for free equipment for our school.
