English 9/ What is the curriculum for English 9?

A handout explaining the ninth grade curriculum will be sent home 
with 
students the first day.  It explains the materials we will 
cover.  It is an 
enjoyable mixture of adventure, suspense, and real-life events. I 
look 
forward to meeting you at Parent Night, which is September 20th, 
2007.  
Also, 
I am hoping to get parents who would like to participate in my 
reading 
program which asks parents to read to my classes, and share their 
own love 
of 
reading with my students. The program has been successful in the 
past, and I 
look forward to implementing it again.  Please let me know if you 
are 
interested!

How will the class be run?

The students will receive a class expectation sheet the first day 
of class 
that will explain the procedures for the class.  I look forward

A writing folder which stays in school will be provided!
