Bridgewater University located in Bridgewater, VA will be having Open Houses on the following dates: September 26, 2009, November 14, 2009, January 30, 2010, and February 20, 2010. If students attend an Open House and bring their completed application with them the $30.00 application fee will be waived. SUNY Maritime College will be hosting their Fall Open House on October 24th and November 22nd. Their Spring Open House will be on March 14th, 2010. Registration begins at 9:00AM. For more information or to RSVP please call 718-409-7222

Tulane University is inviting top students and their families to a "Tulane Comes to You" special event. There are two dates and areas to select from: Thursday, October 8th at 7:00PM at the Marriott Stamford Hotel and Spa in Stamford, CT (203-357-9555) or Wednesday, October 28th at 7:00PM at Renaissance Westchester in West Harrison, NY (914-694-5400). Trinity College is sponsoring a Preview Weekend from Saturday, November 7 through Monday, November 9, 2009. This program is designed to give seniors an opportunity fo explore both the academic and social aspects of the Trinity community with a focus on the experience of their students of color. If you have at least a "B" average consisiting of primarity college prep courses you would be eligible to apply for the program. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 16, 2009. Dutchess Community College will be hosting College Night on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 6-8 PM in Falcon Hall on the main campus of DCC. There will be over 170 schools from NYS and beyond prticipating. Representatives from various branches of the military service will be on hand as well. Information on scholarships, financial aid, and possible career paths after graduation will be available to students and their families.

Northeastern University will be having a Women in Engineering Day on October 30, 2009. This program is a great way for female students who are interested in engineering to learn more about Northeastern's engineering program and to meet some of their students. Parents are also welcome but because space is limited students are encouraged to reserve a place. Wagner College invites students and their families to attend one of their Campus Visit Days which are scheduled for Sunday, October 4, Sunday, October 18, and Saturday, November 14 from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. There will be Information Sessions regarding Academics, Admissions, Campus Life, and Financial Aid. There will also be Campus Tours, a reception with faculty and a light lunch will be served. USC Roski School of Fine Arts is looking for talented students who want to be artists and designers.
