NYS Physics Regents

The New York State Regents in Physics is the final exam for the Honors
Physics class. Honors students who STUDY AND PRACTICE for this exam usually
achieve mastery.

This regents exam is challenging, and probably the hardest of all the
regents science exams. Some questions will be simple, but others will require
good critical thinking skills, an analysis of a multi-step process, accurate
mathematical representations, and, of course, a good conceptual understanding
of physics principles. The ability to do this does not come with a night of
cramming for the exam, but does come with practice through the school year.

For high achievement in physics, there is no substitute for good class
attendance, good class participation, and, excellent effort, especially on
homework, during the ENTIRE school year.
