          class tomorrow and the TEST will be on MONDAY.

12/16/09- Finish example problems in notes sections of sheets started in 
          class today. (Not the HW noted on bottom of page.)
12/18/09- "Books Never Written" worksheet. Show your work on a separate sheet
          of paper or on the back of the worksheet. GET PROGRESS REPORT SIGNED

ENGLISH 9 - Period 3

12/7/09 - Vocabulary Quiz tomorrow. Study the five current vocabulary words 
          plus the five from Poe (acute,...). Remember extra credit 
          flashcards.
        - Continue reading your Independent Reading book
        - Develop a thesis statement (a statement that you are going to prove 
          about the book you are reading). This theses statement is due next
          Monday, 12/14/09.
12/10/09 - On the Simple Sentence practice sheet, just identify the simple 
           subject and the simple predicate. (front of sheet only)
         - Thesis statement for IRU is due on Monday
12/15/09 - Complete the front and back of the first page in The Odyssey study 
           guide (Telemachus and Odysseus).
         - Decide by Thursday what option you are going to do for your IRU 
           project (PowerPoint, scripted skit, video,...). 
12/18/09 - There will be a quiz Tuesday, 12/22, on the Odysseus and 
           Telemachus sections of The Odyssey study guide.
