DID YOU KNOW?: There is no school tomorrow in honor of Veterans' Day.
Originally, Veterans' Day was called Armistice Day because
it marked the end of World War I. World War I was also
known as The Great War and The War to End All Wars.
On November 11, 1918 at 11:00 a.m., fighting ceased. It was
                11 - 11 - 11.
In 1954, Armistice Day was changed to Veterans' Day to honor
ALL THOSE WHO SERVED. Even now, 11:00 a.m. marks the time
                ceremonies ususally commence.
                THANK A VET!
