What happens if I forget my clothes or shoes on PE day?
If a student forgets his/her clothes they will still be allowed to
participate in class as long as he/she remembers their gym shoes. The
exception to that rule is if a female student forgets shorts under her
uniform skirt she will not be allowed to play.
If a student forgets shoes on PE day they will watch.
Students in 3-8 at St Bernard will receive a mark each time they forget
their clothes.
Students at St. Teresa will receive an academic point when they forget their
clothes a twice in one quarter.

Do I lose points if I forget my clothes or shoes?
Yes, if you forget something but are still able to play the first time will
be a warning and no points will be deducted. After that points will be
deducted accordingly. If you forget something and can not participate you
will lose all your points for both dress and participation for the day.

Do I have to participate in Jump Rope or Hoops for Heart?
Nope, participation in the American Heart Association fundraiser is strictly
voluntary.
--------------------------------------
What is the best way to contact the teacher?
Because I teach at two schools the easiest way is always via email. I can
check email several times per day, in the evenings and weekends.
--------------------------------------
Can I help with field day?
Tons and tons of parent help is needed for field day. As we come closer to
that time of year several letters will go home asking for help. Please
respond as soon as possible.

What if my child is injured?
It is necessary to send a handwritten note or an email to the teacher if
your child needs to sit out of PE. Often children develop injuries right
before class so as not to have to run. If an obvioius injury has occured
(one with a cast) it is helpful to know what the doctor has ordered as far
as their participation is concerned.
