**** When multiplying, your groups ALWAYS must have an equal number in them!

 

*  One Property- Any number times 1 equals that number

                           ex: 1 x 7 = 7

 

* Zero Property- Any number times 0 equals 0

                           ex: 0 x 7 = 0

 

*** Commutative Property- you can switch around the factors and still get the same product!

                        ex: 2 x 3 = 6

                              3 x 2 = 6

 

* FACTOR X FACTOR = PRODUCT!
