Grading Policy
The following assessments will be used to determine a numerical grade for
each student at the end of each trimester:
The Average of all Tests: 40 %
The Average of all Quizzes: 30 %
Homework: 15 %
Copybook: 15 %
***Please note:***
- The lowest Math Maintenance grade will be dropped, and the average
of the remaining grades will be considered a test grade.
- All project grades will be averaged with tests.
- All tests and projects are announced in advance
- Students are expected to make up any test, or quiz they miss due to
any absence.

Homework Policy
Students receive 100 points per trimester. As homeworks are turned in,
students maintain the 100.
However, five points are deducted from that 100, each time a homework
assignment is incomplete.
For every 3 homeworks a student misses, in the same trimester, he/she will
receive a demerit.

Copybook Policy
- All students are expected to use pencil in their Math copybooks, and black
pen in their Science copybooks. Students must write in cursive, and must
use headings that include a title, page numbers, and the date. These
headings must be underlined with a red pen and ruler. Students receive 100
points for their copybook at the beginning of each trimester. For every
entry that is missing a copybook component; (proper heading, cursive
writing, pencil/pen,) or contains an undesired component; (scribbling,
doodling, drawing, colorful artwork,) students will lose 5 points.
