Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a terrific summer and all ready for a new school
year! I am so thrilled to be your child’s second grade teacher. This year
will be filled with many new and exciting experiences. There are many
things to look forward to in second grade. Your children will be receiving
two sacraments, learning to write in cursive, expanding their writing
skills, and learn more challenging math.
Second grade is full of excitement and learning for both you and
your child. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new
parents. Hope to see you all at Back to School Night!
Here are a few reminders to help start off the year:
• Cover all books in clear contact paper.
• All supplies should be labeled with your child’s name.
• If there is at any time a change in transportation, a note will be
greatly appreciated.
• Please send in two boxes of tissues and Clorox/Lysol wipes (cold
season will be here before we know it).
