I began my teaching career at Saint Pius X in Broomall from 1973 to 1979
where I taught 2nd and 4th grades. I stayed home for the next 22 years
helping my husband Michael raise our three children Lori Anne, Michael, and
Stephen. I returned to St. Pius in 2001-2006 teaching 7th and 8th grade
Social Studies with a 7th grade Homeroom.
This is my 3rd year at Sacred Heart and I am happy to be teaching in my home
parish and my alma mater ( class of 69 )and to share the excitement and
enthusiasm of the students.
The mission for our 6th grade is to create an environment where all students
feel welcome and are happy to be a part of our class. They will be
conscience of the gifts that we all have to offer and will treat each person
with respect and courtesy. My goal is to help each student grow
academically, socially, and most importantly, spiritually and to become
independent life-long learners.
Since we are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation this year, the
students will share their time and talents by working on a variety of
service projects within our parish and community.
