Dear Parents,
This week we will be talking about Thanksgiving. We will read about
the first Thanksgiving and learn about the Mayflower that brought the
Pilgrims to America. We will talk about what we are thankful for. We will
also talk about what we eat and what we will do on Thanksgiving. Please
discuss your plans with your child this week.
On Friday we will be baking a pumpkin pie. We will eat it for dessert
after lunch.
Show-n-tell this week will be anything they want.
Next Tuesday will be our only day in school so we will have a
Thanksgiving Feast. Please do not send a snack to school that day.
Some of the children will wear Pilgrim hats and some will wear Native
American headbands.
Thank you to Mrs. Crognale who was our mystery reader last week.
We are so thankful to all our parents and your support that you give
us all year.
