9th Grade Novel Suggestions and Reading List

The following list of Novels are suggestions for the 9th grade 
reading level (# 1-11)

The rest of the Novels will be read both outside and inside of class. 
Some are available in the literature textbook that will be issued to 
each student at the beginning of the year and others will need to be 
purchased or borrowed from a local library.

The following list may change. 

For the most part, students will be reading a different novel each 
marking period outside of the classroom. This may require students to 
purchase a book or borrow it from the library. In today's 
technological world, students also have option to read them online 
and access study guides. For outside readings, students will take a 
mulpiple choice, vocabulary, essay test. The test dates will be 
relayed to students at the beginning of the marking period, however, 
studenst should anticipate a test and begin reading early.
