Ways to Help

* Communication between home and school is very important. The daily
assignment book should come home each day to communicate assignments. We
value your insights and input. Please feel free to contact your child's
teacher with a note or phone call (215)257-6272 any time you have a question,
concern, or information that we should know in order to help your child.

* Provide a consistent time and place for your child to complete homework.
This helps to promote good work and study habits. It is helpful to establish
a reasonable amount of time (up to 60 mins.) for homework. If your child
finishes before the time is up, he/she can review for an upcoming test,
practice spelling words, vocabulary words, math facts, prepare for long-term
projects, or read silently for the time remaining.

* Please check your child's assignment book on a daily basis and insert your
initials in the area provided. Your review of this book will help to keep
you informed of daily happenings, as well as guide you to help your child
plan ahead.

* Discuss school with your child. When possible, get involved. Let your
child know that you are interested in what is happening and that you are in
touch with the school. You are the most influential person in your child's
life!
