Mrs Donato-
Mrs. Donato was born in New Jersey, but was raised in Pennsylvania.
She is a graduate of Pennridge High School. She went to East Stroudsburg
and Kutztown University for her teaching degrees. She holds a Bachelor's
degree as well as a Master's degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Donato has
been teaching for 20 wonderful years and still looks forward to each day!
She has taught both 6th grade and 4th grade at Seylar. This is her fourth
year teaching third grade.
Mrs. Donato enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. She
has been married for 16 years and has an 11 year old son Matthew and a 7 year
old daughter Natalie. Her family enjoys going to the mountains and spending
time at the shore. When not teaching, Mrs. Donato can be found at soccer
and baseball games, dance recitals, and Tae Kwon Do tournaments. In her
spare time, Mrs. Donato loves to read and shop. Most of all, she enjoys
spending time with family and friends!
Mrs. Benstead-
Mrs. Benstead was born in Buffalo, New York. She moved to the
Doylestown area when she was four years old. She is a graduate of Central
Bucks High School East. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio
with a bachelor of science in Education. She received her masters and
certification as a reading specialist from Arcadia University. Mrs. Benstead
has been teaching in the Pennridge School District for 23 years. She has
taught in a variety of grade levels. Mrs. Benstead is very excited about
teaching third grade, and looks forward to another great year!
Mrs. Benstead lives in Doylestown with her husband, Jim, and two
children, Emma and Jack. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her
family. Fall will keep her busy going to football and soccer games. She can
often be seen walking through town with her Golden Retriever, Murphy.
We hope that each student will always try to do their best! To keep each
teacher young at heart!
