Bits & Pieces
THANK YOU! Halloween here at St. Nicholas was lots of fun. Thanks to our
Home & School president, Kathy Arrigo, Susan DiPietro, Audree Derago and
Susan Longo board members and many parent volunteers. God bless you for
your time and hard work.
Special thanks to Kathy Arrigo and Theresa Anastasio who worked hard to get
candy and gifts donated.
The RELIGIOUS TEACHERS FILIPPINI are very grateful and personally thank all
of the parents who voluntarily participated in the Christmas Fund Raiser for
the benefit of our Senior Sisters. Your kindness and generosity are very
much appreciated.
EMERGENCY CLOSING – When the weather is inclement and you are not certain if
school will be in session, you are asked to listen to the radio station KYW
(1060 AM). PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL, CONVENT OR RECTORY.
Children should not arrive at school before 8:00 A.M. or before 12:35 P.M.
The school does not assume responsibility for children before these times,
even on days of inclement weather. Please cooperate for the safety of the
children.
EMERGENCY CARDS – Back in September, 2008 Emergency Cards were sent home
with the oldest child in each family requesting that you check all
information on the card, and make any necessary changes. We are running
into a problem with some of the phone numbers that were given to us. If you
have a change in Address, Phone or Emergency Numbers, please contact the
school office with the new information. Also, if you have a Cell Number that
is not on file in the office, we ask that you send the information into
school for our records.
