Define my environmental science fair project. How does my topic impact the environment? How does the environment impact my topic? How does my topic affect people? How do people affect my topic? Complete a science fair topic sheet for your teacher. Write questions that you will answer to fully understand your topic? Complete a Kidspiration question wheel for your topic during Computer class. Where will you search for information? **Library Books, Encyclopedias, WebPath Express, Specialized Search Tool on Library Web page** Complete your keyword chart and use while searching in Library/Computer. Search for topic. Print only pages that have information to answer your questions. |

For every information source (book, web site, etc.), complete a cover sheet that helps you to summarize, take notes and write a citation for the source. All words used in your science fair project must be your own….not copied from the resource. Charts, pictures, and graphics must be cited. Fill in the information on the cover sheet for your citation. Use your Question Wheel created with Kidspiration to organize the information you found for each question. Complete a mockup of what your science fair project will look like. Type text boxes while in Computer class using no smaller than 18 point text. Write citations for all of the resources you used |
