About The Teacher

Mrs. Kathryn Farmer was born and raised in Charleston, S.C..  She is a 
graduate of First Baptist High School, Clemson University (GO TIGERS!), and 
The Citadel's Graduate School. She has taught Math for 19 years at various 
levels, from the 4th grade to teaching Algebra II, along with Geometry, in 
the High School.  Mrs. Farmer is married to Daniel C. Farmer, Administrative 
Intern at Reeves Elementary School, and has 2 beautiful children: Anna Claire
(6) and Ben (3).  Mrs. Farmer believes that ALL children can learn, given 
opportunities through a variety of learning methodologies.

Mission For The Class

Rollings Middle School of the Arts is a school for the fine and performing 
arts with an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning in all the content 
areas.  We believe learning is more meaningful and effective when learning 
styles are recognized and developed through an integrated curriculum.
