Required Reading Choice: Schooled
-Read the book.
-Complete a Reading Log (your child was given a Log on the last day of
school)to record every time you read your book.
-Complete Summary in a Bag
Summary in a Bag
Directions: Select 5 items or objects that will help you explain your book.
Write at least two sentences about each item/object and how it was used in
the book. All the items need to fit inside a paper or plastic bag.
Examples: If you were creating a summary in a bag for the story “Cinderella”
some items/objects you might have are:
a fairy wand
a Barbie or doll shoe
a pumpkin
a picture of sisters
a picture of a broom
All Summer Reading assignments are due the first day of school.
