Welcome to 2010!

I hope everyone enjoyed the Winter Break.  Even though it is cold outside, we still go out to 
recess if the temperature is 32 degrees or higher.  Be sure to bring a hat, coat, and gloves
to wear outside.  Students who do not bring outerwear for recess will go to study hall.

Multiplication and Division will be the focus in math for the month of January.  Practice 
your multiplication tables at home.

The secret word is division.  Write the word division on a scrap piece of paper and bring it 
to Mrs. Yelton for a  ROAR ticket.

If a test is scheduled on a day we are out for bad weather, we will have the test the day we 
return.  I repeat -- the test will be given the day we return.  This will give you extra time to 
study.
